I am tired of imagining awesome films that should’ve just been logical inevitabilities.
 

It has only just hit me that Michael Fassbender is the perfect man for Big Boss/Naked Snake/Solid Snake/Whatever in a Metal Gear Solid movie.

It’s utter madness that such a film is not in production by now…
*sigh*

This is interesting.
Looks like a grim, unpleasantly dirty film that will leave you coated in grime and filth…yet I feel hypnotized by its 80s flavour and overall cracked-cover, VHS-rental vibe.

(I think I watched the original back in high school with my buddy, but my memory is hazy, so perhaps not…)

And, Elijah…
Bless that man.
I think he’s one of the most underrated actors on the scene with some truly exciting potential and choosing a role like this proves that he’s serious about the craft and willing to get his hands dirty in every sense of the phrase.

Plus, Alexandre Aja is involved, so I am there already.
